since I blogged. Thanks for the reminder. I will try to do better. I’ll give a quick update.
My Uncle Billy passed away suddenly on December 17. He was my grandaddy’s only brother. His esophagus ruptured on that Monday morning and he never regained conciousness. So sad. His oldest 3 children had just buried their mother 5 weeks before.
Christmas was very exciting. While at the Cothron family gathering on Christmas eve, Lowe passed out and cut right below his eye open. So we spent the most part of the night in the ER in Trousdale County, not exactly the nicest hospital in Middle Tenn, but it was the closest. He got about 7 stitches in his face and looked pretty pitiful. I got me some more gray hair. I took him to his pediatrician but he had changed offices and we only got to see a PA there and they were so inept that I fired them and took him to Peanut’s doctor at Summit. They were more concerned at finding out why he had this episode and sent him for a 2 hour glucose test and some other blood work. All of this came back okay and then she sent him to a cardiologist. They did an EKG and an ultrasound and said that his heart was fine. So we still have no answers.
Peanut is finally potty trained. She just decided on her own that it was time. She keeps us all on our toes still. When she is about to get in big trouble, she’ll tell you “I’m just Peanut”, like that’s gonna get her out of trouble.
Holliman Law Firm started closing on Thursdays as of January 1. So far, I have spent all those days in the dr’s offices. Tomorrow is no different, I have a dentist appt then an eye dr. appt, so I have to get up earlier than I would if I were going to work.
Shane and I went with a bunch of friends to see Rodney Carrington. It was so funny. I did not know who the man was before then and lots of it was pretty dirty, but we had a great time and went out to eat at Chili’s. Lowe and Lauren got to spend the night with my Daddy and Brenda so they really enjoyed themselves also.
I am finally getting to read some. I am on the last Twilight book now and am really anxious to finish it. Does she finally become a vampire? I am so ready to find out.
Ok, that’s about all I can think of now. Here’s a picture of Bubbie’s eye and Peanut in her tutu she got for Christmas.

Oh! it is just wonderful hearing from you!!! I have missed you! So you have to keep this up and also you could email me sometime, you know.
I know your family has lost several loved ones recently and in the past year. That makes the holidays difficult. I am so sorry.
And about Bubbie – OH MY GOODNESS. If everything checks out okay, you can figure just low blood sugar that day? I guess? I am sure he is fine. But I know it totally scares you to death!
Peanut is just too cute! and growing so fast! She’s a mess! LOL – wonder where she gets it from???? LOL
The Twilight books are absolutely awesome. I read them all – one after another – and no, I won’t tell you a thing!!
Actually Olivia and I had this discussion about Edward vs. Jacob — how some people just love Edward and hate Jacob for coming between them; and how some love Jacob and think Edward is, well, just fine, but can’t resist Jacob. You know, the tough, emotional, hot Jacob? and we think how they feel about Jacob and Edward reflects their personality… you know what I mean? {at least until the ending of the story} — so tell me, you Love Edward and don’t care so much for Jacob… am I right? {laughing}
but I will share that the story ends perfectly for everybody
ha ha

It is good to hear from you again. I know the holidays can be rough when we are grieving for family members, but you keep up the traditions for the children. My sister, Renda’s, daughter blacked out at work a couple weeks ago, and she is in the process of heart tests and a brain scan, and has already been through the blood work and EKG. She has been fine ever since and so far they have found nothing wrong. So we empathize.
I read a totally different kind of book than you, Vic, and Liv so I can’t comment on that part. I have met a vampire or two in my day (on the TV screen) that I like, though. Happy Reading!

Poor Lowe – is he past the age where boys think that stitches are “cool”? And you gotta stay on the docs to find out what the cause of him passing out is – that’s just not normal, I don’t care what they say. And Peanut is so beautiful! That hair is amazing. I’m sure Shane knows that before long he is going to have lots of target practice with the parade of boys that will be trying to come up Bradford Hill Road.
I need to send you an email to catch up on some stuff.
Love you!
